Dean Morstad is a Senior Manager of Application Development for MoneyGram International, Inc. His teams support application development for a suite of applications used by MoneyGram’s world-wide retail agent and biller partner network. These systems include transactional “Points of Entry” that include Money Order processing and Agent Management.
Dean and his team lead efforts to drive adoption and implementation of the ForgeRock suite of applications, providing a unified Identity and Access Management platform for all Agent and Partner systems that align with MoneyGram’s Agent Transformation program and IT Security Identity Transformation initiatives.
Dean has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology. His career includes experience from all levels of IT including business analysis, business process engineering, application architecture and development, quality assurance, system engineering and administration, network engineering and administration, identity and access management, data center operations, project management, security, compliance, and audit. He has worked across a diverse landscape of industries including banking and finance, Food Manufacturing and Distribution, Telecommunications, Education, Retail, IT Compliance and Audit, Software Development, and Healthcare. He has served for the last 6 years as a board member (5 years as Chairman of the Board) for Love Lines, Inc., – a non-profit crisis intervention phone counseling center based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dean currently resides in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
