His responsibilities included a system that processes in excess of £100 million per month of pension transactions. Moving to a Solutions Architecture role he led the end-to-end delivery of IT solutions and was key to AEGON’s ability to deliver IT change. Kenneth’s remit was to ensure fit for purpose solutions were provided to the business, providing a link between business stakeholders and other parts of IT. He was heavily involved in strategic initiatives and the feasibility stages of projects.

Ken joined Origo, a not-for-profit FinTech company dedicated to the Financial Services industry, in 2010. As a Standards Architect he was responsible for the development and maintenance of industry data messaging Standards and industry-wide architectures such as Origo’s Process Architecture and Service Oriented Architecture. His focus is, however, in the creation of strategic new services including the Origo Integration Hub. This has involved the business and technical design of the services, running and facilitating industry Working Groups and working with suppliers and customers to deliver the solutions to Industry. Throughout his career at Origo, Ken has helped set the strategic and architectural direction for Standards and Service Development.

For the last two years, Ken has been involved in Origo’s Pensions Dashboard project, which he will be discussing during Identity Live.
